  12. I've been reading some of the messages here and I have a few questions:
  13. I noticed someone saying that they achieve 6-7 KByte/sec with the
  14. ftp.microsoft.com/Is-IR.txt file. I tried the same file and averaged
  15. around 2.1 KByte/sec! This with an Optima 28.8k with an ESP card for the
  16. uart! I have compression set to on (I think!-- S46=2?) yet I get lousy
  17. transfer rates on the web. BTW I'm using Netscape 2.1 Can someone  post
  18. their modem and Window's settings re communications for me? Any ideas on
  19. the above? Thanks
