- I've been reading some of the messages here and I have a few questions:
- I noticed someone saying that they achieve 6-7 KByte/sec with the
- ftp.microsoft.com/Is-IR.txt file. I tried the same file and averaged
- around 2.1 KByte/sec! This with an Optima 28.8k with an ESP card for the
- uart! I have compression set to on (I think!-- S46=2?) yet I get lousy
- transfer rates on the web. BTW I'm using Netscape 2.1 Can someone post
- their modem and Window's settings re communications for me? Any ideas on
- the above? Thanks
